Inspired by Victorian Puzzle Purses, this hand-illustrated Valentine is a little piece of interactive art, with a sweet spooky love story unfolding with each layer. Designed with intricate details and symbolism, each one is printed front and back on sturdy art paper, folded, then stamped with a hand-carved heart shaped lock stamp, and sealed gently with a hand-poured wax seal. The seal is held on with a small bit of stretchy adhesive so as to not rip the paper. Each Valentine comes in its own black organza bag, a darling little secret waiting to be discovered.
